Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Cloud Infrastructure roles. They will also have expertise in AWS services, including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Mongo Atlas, Lambda, VPC, ALB, Gateway, Cognito, WAF, IAM, Amplify, and CloudFormation.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, and Cloud Infrastructure roles
- Expert knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Mongo Atlas, Lambda, VPC, ALB, Gateway, Cognito, WAF, IAM, Amplify, and CloudFormation
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration management
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure code IaC tools Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi
- Expertise in system monitoring logging tools Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, and AWS CloudWatch
- Proficiency in scripting languages Bash, Python, and Go for automation infrastructure management
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of networking security best practices and system performance tuning
- Experience setting enforcing SLAs for DevOps teams
