Job description & requirements

Asst. Manager - Talent Acquisition

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for retail jewellery positions including:
  • Sales Executives
  • Marketing Executives
  • Store Managers / Assistant Managers
  • Accounts, Admin, and Support Roles (as assigned)
  • Understand manpower requirements from man power budget and management.
  • Translate requirements into clear job descriptions and hiring plans.
  • Source candidates through:
  • Naukri. Linked in, Indeed and other job portals
  • Employee referrals
  • Local sourcing, walk-ins, and field recruitment
  • Campus recruitment (where applicable)

Screening & Interview Coordination

  • Screen resumes based on role-specific criteria.
  • Conduct initial telephonic / virtual screening.
  • Coordinate interviews with reporting managers and senior management.
  • Schedule, track, and close interview processes within defined timelines.

Offer & Joining Management

  • Negotiate offers within approved compensation structures.
  • Issue offer letters and coordinate joining formalities.
  • Ensure timely joining and reduce offer dropouts.
  • Maintain continuous follow-up with selected candidates until joining.

Recruitment MIS & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruitment trackers:
  • Open positions
  • Candidate pipeline
  • Interview status
  • Offer-to-joining ratio
  • Share weekly and monthly recruitment status reports with management.
  • Track recruitment turnaround time (TAT) and hiring efficiency.

Employer Branding Support

  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent.
  • Ensure professional communication with all candidates, reflecting company values.


Skills & Competencies Required

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in bulk and retail hiring, preferably in jewellery, retail, FMCG, or BFSI sales.
  • Proficiency in using job portals (especially Naukri) and sourcing tools.
  • Excellent interviewing and screening skills.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple vacancies across locations simultaneously.

Behavioral & Professional Skills

  • High level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
  • Result-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong stakeholder management with branch heads and leadership.


Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of dedicated recruitment experience.
  • Prior experience in retail jewellery recruitment will be a strong advantage.
