Asst. Manager - Talent Acquisition
Recruitment & Hiring
- Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for retail jewellery positions including:
- Sales Executives
- Marketing Executives
- Store Managers / Assistant Managers
- Accounts, Admin, and Support Roles (as assigned)
- Understand manpower requirements from man power budget and management.
- Translate requirements into clear job descriptions and hiring plans.
- Source candidates through:
- Naukri. Linked in, Indeed and other job portals
- Employee referrals
- Local sourcing, walk-ins, and field recruitment
- Campus recruitment (where applicable)
Screening & Interview Coordination
- Screen resumes based on role-specific criteria.
- Conduct initial telephonic / virtual screening.
- Coordinate interviews with reporting managers and senior management.
- Schedule, track, and close interview processes within defined timelines.
Offer & Joining Management
- Negotiate offers within approved compensation structures.
- Issue offer letters and coordinate joining formalities.
- Ensure timely joining and reduce offer dropouts.
- Maintain continuous follow-up with selected candidates until joining.
Recruitment MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers:
- Open positions
- Candidate pipeline
- Interview status
- Offer-to-joining ratio
- Share weekly and monthly recruitment status reports with management.
- Track recruitment turnaround time (TAT) and hiring efficiency.
Employer Branding Support
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent.
- Ensure professional communication with all candidates, reflecting company values.
Skills & Competencies Required
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in bulk and retail hiring, preferably in jewellery, retail, FMCG, or BFSI sales.
- Proficiency in using job portals (especially Naukri) and sourcing tools.
- Excellent interviewing and screening skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple vacancies across locations simultaneously.
Behavioral & Professional Skills
- High level of professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Result-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong stakeholder management with branch heads and leadership.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of dedicated recruitment experience.
- Prior experience in retail jewellery recruitment will be a strong advantage.
