Our team is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruiting and help us meet key workforce goals in a dynamic, matrixed environment. This is a primarily remote role with 2 days per month in office downtown Indianapolis.
Hours for the position: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
- End-to-End Recruitment Leadership: Oversee every step of the recruitment process, from initial job definition and market analysis to candidate outreach, assessment, and guiding offers through to acceptance.
- Trusted Advisor: Actively partner with hiring managers, providing informed counsel and actionable insights that support effective hiring decisions grounded in organizational needs and HR best practices.
- Efficient Process Management: Strategically prioritize and advance multiple concurrent searches, applying exceptional organizational skills to meet ambitious timelines and maintain search momentum.
- High-Volume Talent Engagement: Successfully navigate a fast-paced requisition environment, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all stakeholders, regardless of workload complexity.
- Proactive Sourcing & Workforce Strategy: Contribute to workforce planning by leveraging market trends and advanced sourcing methods to consistently identify and engage top-tier, passive talent aligned with core business objectives.
- Compensation and Benefits Alignment: Collaborate with compensation teams to develop compelling, competitive total rewards packages that reflect both role requirements and market benchmarks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a similar discipline is required. Candidates with at least 3–5 years of equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Solid understanding of compensation packages and direct experience applying both internal and external hiring guidelines.
- Familiarity with key HR laws and regulations (such as FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, and others).
- Demonstrated ability to utilize passive sourcing methods, recruiting technologies, and to lead process enhancements within talent acquisition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experienced with applicant tracking systems.
- 3–5 years of hands-on recruiting experience in a matrixed environment, with a preference for those from healthcare backgrounds.
- Proven success implementing various internet sourcing and advanced recruiting strategies.
