Mercy Hospital St. Louis is currently seeking a Critical Care Physician to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. Mercy Hospital St. Louis is a 979-bed fully accredited teaching hospital and the only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County.

Preferred candidates will have completed a Critical Care Medicine fellowship and be board-certified in Critical Care Medicine. Neurocritical Care fellowship is not required; however, the ideal candidate will have dedicated Neuro ICU experience and be board-certified in Neurocritical Care. ECMO experience is desirable.

Mercy Critical Care offers:

  • 100 ICU and intermediate beds including traditional coronary, medical surgical, trauma and neurosurgical patients.
  • Critical Care and Neurocritical Care Fellowship training program supported by the Critical Care Department.
  • Long-term acute care beds to provide care to medically complex patients.
  • Bedside care and telemedicine vICU care across several states to include Mercy Hospitals and external hospitals
  • System Wide EPIC EHR
  • A large, established multi-specialty referral network
