Sanford Health – Marshfield Clinic

Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) is a nonprofit integrated health system based in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Founded in 1916 by six physicians, it serves rural communities across northern, central, and western Wisconsin, as well as the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. MCHS is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and compassionate health care, operating over 65 clinical locations and 11 hospitals, including Marshfield Children’s Hospital. The system employs more than 13,000 staff, including 1,600 providers across over 170 specialties. MCHS emphasizes a seamless continuum of care, offering services from primary care to specialized treatments like cancer care. The Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, established in 1959, is Wisconsin’s largest private medical research institute, focusing on innovation and supporting over 300 active studies. Additionally, MCHS includes the Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, which provides comprehensive health insurance options.
